Ronkonkoma has two big draws: the LIRR station at the end of the electrified Main Line and the Long Island MacArthur Airport terminal. Around them you will find hotels, car services, restaurants, medical offices, and retail along Portion Road and Hawkins Avenue, plus the newer apartments and commercial space of the Ronkonkoma Hub redevelopment by the station.
The hamlet straddles the Islip and Brookhaven town line. We cover both sides, about seven miles northeast of our East Islip office.
Near the station, commuters set the rhythm of the day. Near the airport, flight schedules do. Either way, phones, card readers, and Wi-Fi have to work early in the morning and late at night.
Hotels and hospitality businesses need guest Wi-Fi kept completely separate from the business network, point-of-sale systems that stay up, phones that work, and a stable network for door locks and cameras. Logistics and travel-related businesses need the same uptime and usually more than one shift of coverage, which is where 24/7 monitoring earns its keep.
Office-based businesses need Microsoft 365 set up properly, multi-factor sign-in, email filtering, and backups. Many Ronkonkoma owners and staff split time between the office, home, and the train, so secure remote access and a VoIP phone system that rings on a cell phone are part of the basic setup. We also manage offices that run a mix of Macs and Windows PCs, keeping both patched, protected, and backed up the same way.
Medical and dental offices need HIPAA-aligned setup on top of that: encrypted computers, separate patient Wi-Fi, and access shut off the day someone leaves.
We begin with an assessment of your computers, network, accounts, and backups and give you a written report with what we would fix first. From there we take over the help desk, monitoring, and patching, and come on site for hardware, cabling, and network work.
If you already have IT support and it is not working out, we handle the takeover: collect passwords, licenses, and network details, confirm the backups, and document everything so you are never locked out of your own systems.

If you want one company to own everything, from the help desk to patching to security, look at managed IT services. If you mainly need someone to call when a computer, printer or login stops working, start with IT support and help desk.
Slow Wi-Fi, dropped connections or a firewall nobody has touched in years is a job for network support. And if you have a bigger decision coming, like a move, a new office, a compliance review or a cyber insurance renewal, IT consulting gets you a written plan before you spend money. Security on its own is covered under cybersecurity services.

Yes. We manage Macs and Windows PCs side by side: updates, security software, backups, and Microsoft 365 on both.
Yes. Guest Wi-Fi goes on its own network that cannot see your computers, point-of-sale terminals, or cameras. This matters for hotels, restaurants, and any office with a waiting room.
